What we're building.
FireDesign.ai takes a DXF or DWG floor plan and produces a validated sprinkler layout, pipe routing, and review-ready deliverables in minutes. It's built on NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D.
- CAD intake: DXF and DWG with configurable standards and overrides
- Room intelligence: planar graph inference plus AI fallback for unresolved cases
- Sprinkler placement: heads placed to NFPA spacing and coverage rules
- Routing: pipe routed from every head back to the riser
- Validation: compliance checks, fail-closed by default
Why it matters.
The fire protection industry runs on hours that engineers spend on the same repeatable geometry problem. Automating the boring 80% lets the people who actually understand fire behavior focus on the 20% that needs judgment.
